Crane Rail Accessories Specs & Drawings
CB-6 Rail Clamp
Portable rail clamps are easily applied to rail head to prevent movement of crane wheels or other rolling stock. The clamp bodies are made of cast steel in two size as follows: style” A” is for use with rails weighing 40 to 100 lbs. per yard and style “F” for 105 to 175 lbs. rails including all heavy crane rail sections. Corresponding weights-42 and 50 lbs. each.
Model C Car Block
Lightweight and strong Model C car blocks have a rotating cam locking device for extra safety. They lock so tightly to the rail they are used daily on barges to prevent car movement. The Model C-3 is specifically designed as a crane block, and is very popular in mills and wherever overhead cranes are used.

SHUR-STOP® Crane Stops
PORTABLE SLIDING TYPE: SHUR-STOP® is recommended where a sliding-type crane stop is needed and where portability and quick attachment and quick removal to rail are important considerations. SHUR-STOP® uses a wedge and clamp action for positive stopping of moving cranes. The wedge has rail guide ears which are bent to grip the rail head to ensure alignment of the wedge. A series of cinch plates create drag to retard movement after the crane wheel makes contact with the wedge. Available for most wheel makes contact rail sizes. Specify crane rail size and section when ordering. weight 35lbs. SHUR-STOP® must be used in pairs.

Model 430F modified Stops are designed for non-standard railroad applications such as cranes and other devices that are used to guide and facilitate movement. They are normally sold in pairs.
CR101 Crane Stops
Crane Stops are quickly installed by simply fitting over rail, inserting filler blocks and bolting through rail web. Fabricated from welded and shaped steel plate in sizes to fit all tee rail and crane rail sections and to conform to standard wheel diameters. When ordering, specify the rail section and diameter of wheels.
CR102 Crane Stops
Crane stops are quickly installed by simply welding the bottom of side plates to the beam or channel rail it is sitting on. Welded crane stops are intended primarily for light duty cranes. When ordering, specify the rail section and the required height of the bumping plate.

Designed for all tee rail directions and crane rail up to 104lbs.
